TAMAR VALLEY RIDING CLUB
As an affiliate of British Riding Clubs we are bound to conduct clinics/events in accordance with the government and BRC guidelines/rules.
We want everyone who attends our events to have fun and stay safe in these unprecedented times. We would love to have multiple spectators and no restriction on rider numbers, however we are officially limited to a maximum of 4 riders and the instructor in the arena. Riders are allowed one attendant/spectator per rider and whilst we appreciate that occasionally this may not be practical, we ask that as far as possible this is adhered to.
In all cases good social distancing must be practiced, with different households staying 2m apart.
We ask that attendees arrive as near to their start time as practical and depart the venue promptly afterwards to avoid large gatherings.
At indoor venues spectators must wear masks.
In many cases refreshment and toilet facilities may be more restricted than normal.
Tamar Valley Riding Club has been formed by a group of like minded people looking for more to do locally with their horses and to bring everyone together. We aim to encourage all of our members to get the most out of their riding whether that be for pleasure or competition. We aim to be a fun club and welcome as much input as possible from our members. Please come along with your suggestions for activities and help keep the website current by sending in your pictures and news.
We are affiliated to British Riding Clubs as part of Area 19. The club aims to bring together riders of all levels and abilities to enjoy their riding. Whether you enjoy hacking, competing, learning or just socialising with other horsey people we aim to offer something for everyone.
We have a number of regular instructors taking club clinics plus guest instructors to help with all disciplines at all levels.
Tamar Valley Riding Club currently uses a local outdoor sand school on the Bere Peninsula, particularly during the drier months. Additional clinics are also held at nearby indoor venues during the wetter winter months.
We will be adding more venues as needed.
